1. Vegetable Soup Recipe

Vegetable soup, when created with the right proportion of ingredients, can be really delicious and healthy. Here we will be mixing different veggies together to make this soup wholesome and harness all the nutrients. For the vegetable soup, the ingredients are:

  • 1 tablespoon dried Basil
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • ¼ cup Beans, diced
  • Freshly crushed Bell Peppers
  • ¼ cup Broccoli, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Cabbage, diced
  • ¼ cup Carrots, diced
  • ¼ cup Corns
  • 2 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, finely diced
  • ½ Potato, diced
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ Sweet Potato, diced
  • ¼ cup Zucchini, diced
Recipe: Wash and chop all the vegetables nicely in small pieces. Now, in a pan put a small amount of oil or if you can avoid oil use water instead as we are making a weight loss soup. As the oil/water gets heated add finely chopped onion, garlic, salt and bay leaves and sauté it for a minute. Add carrots and cabbage to it and cook for a minute. Then add all the remaining veggies and cook until all the veggies. Once everything is cooked properly sprinkle black pepper. Serve in bowls and garnish it with basil. Your soup recipe is ready to serve.

Bonus Tip: If you are managing weight, you can add protein to your soup by adding chicken to it

2.  Tomato Turmeric Soup

As you can guess the main ingredient of this soup are tomato and turmeric. The reason for this soup being perfect for weight loss and detox is the goodness of tomatoes which provide us vitamin C, potassium folate and vitamin K. also tomatoes consist of 95% of water and are a good source of fibre, which makes it a perfect ingredient to add in our weight loss soup. The second ingredient is turmeric is known for its powerful medicinal properties and is considered as the most nutritional supplement. So, now let’s take a look at the ingredients:
  • 3 tomatoes/ 5 oz of cherry tomatoes.
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with sauce.
  • ½ vegetable of your choice.
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp virgin coconut oil
  • sea salt as per taste
  • Dried basil
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • Freshly ground black pepper
Recipe:  Add coconut oil to pan and heat it. Now salute onion and garlic for a minute. Add turmeric, sea salt, tomatoes and cook until tomatoes get soft. Add tomato can, vegetables, apple cider vinegar, basil. Now cover it with lid and let cook for five minutes on simmer. After five minutes take it off the stove and let cool down. once cooled blend it in blender. After this you can add water if feel the soup is thick and let it boil for a minute. Soup is now ready to serve, take it in a serving bowl and garnish it with black pepper and you can need mixed seeds and nuts as per your taste.
